What are the results?
During the initial consultation, the consultant takes the time to explain to each client the complexities of their individual problem and educate them about the process of hair growth. They begin this educational process with an in-depth Microscopic Hair Analysis (MHA) test which takes about an hour. During this analysis, the scalp is visually examined, and any topical problems are identified. Contributing factors are assessed, since hair loss may occur for many reasons, such as surgery, stress, fever, genetic background, diet, harmful shampoos, coloring solutions, perming solutions, drugs, medicines, hormones, illness and others. Hair samples from the weaker and stronger areas are analysed and compared under a high powered microscope. The acceleration of the hair shedding problem is also assessed.
The consultant will then make a recommendation for treatment. Several options are available, we emphasize the Natural Treatment, Laser Program and Carboxy therapy as the preferred method for those whose hair loss problems have not reached the advanced stages. An ideal candidate is someone who is beginning to suffer hair loss, but still has some hair. This highly successful program is carefully customized to each individual, and is maintained from three to six months up to a year, depending on the severity of the problem. The treatment focuses on restoring both the follicle and the scalp to optimum health.
Hair transplant is when donor hairs are taken from the back and sides of your scalp. It is a minor surgical procedure requiring local anesthetic Once hair is removed from these areas, the follicles are separated into individual and multiple grafts. These are then implanted into the problem areas. After surgery, you may or may not have a full head of hair, pending the severity of your starting condition; on rare occasions some people require more than one procedure. The transplanted hair will start to grow 3 to 5 months after the surgery. Full development typically occurs within 6 to 12 months. Hair restoration will not correct scalp disorders, if present.
It is reassuring to learn that a genetic predisposition does not mean that a person will go bald. It does indicate that that person could be susceptible to hair loss if certain factors are triggered, but having a history of hair loss does not indicate hopelessness. Help is available.
Laser light therapy can be an effective part of a successful hair development program. It has proven in US medical studies and in years of our clinical work, to regrow hair and stop hair loss. It effectively increases the blood flow in the scalp and causes photo-bio-stimulation (PBS). PBS is a biochemical, non-thermal effect that results when living tissue absorbs energy from low level lasers. The results of the laser treatment program are: reduction in hair loss, regenerationof hair, and the development of fuller thicker and healthier hair shafts. Several treatments are required due to the growth cycle of hair. Generally, fees range from several hundred to a few thousand dollars for complete programs.
Natural treatments are liquid medications applied to the hair and scalp. The treatments are drug free and contain all natural nutrients. They are all tailored to deal with specific conditions. These treatments are most beneficial for people who have some existing hair and relevant scalp conditions, and are backed by a written guarantee of success. The treatments can be done either at home or at the clinics. Treatments fees vary greatly, depending on the severity of hair loss. Some clients may need very few treatments while others who have extensive hair loss, will need more intensive treatments for a greater length of time. Generally treatments will vary in cost from a couple hundred to a few thousand dollars.
